Tip: Change Your Home Page on Your Web Browser

Okay, maybe your home page is not that big of a deal to you, but it's nice to be greeted by your favorite website every time you log onto the Internet. Here's how you go about changing the home page on the three major Web Browsers.

Internet Explorer
Open IE and go to Tools > Internet options. If you do not see the Tools tab, then you will want to hit Alt to bring it up, or click on the gear icon on the upper-right hand corner. With the Internet Options box open, you should see the General tab (click on the General tab if this is not the case). Next to the picture of a little house is the Home page section, in the home page text box simply type in or copy and paste the new website that you would like make your homepage. Finish by clicking OK.

Google Chrome
To change your home page in Google Chrome, click on the Customize and Control Google Chrome icon on the top-right corner (it looks like three lines), and then select Settings. From here, you will go to On startup > Open a specific page or set of pages, and then click on Set Pages. The Startup pages box will open, and you will see a form that says Enter URL..., go ahead and enter whatever website you want to it make your new home page and then click OK.

Mozilla Firefox
In Firefox, you will change your home page by clicking on the orange Firefox menu in the upper-left hand corner of your browser. From here, you will go to Options > Options (Options squared). You will now go to the Startup section, and then select When Firefox starts: Show my home page. All you have left to do is to type your desired home page address and then click OK.

With your home page set to your liking, you will now see your favorite website every time that you open your browser. A home page says a lot about a person. Let us get to know you better and share your home page in the comments.
